Join the San Diego County Arts and Culture Commission for In Community, a new series of free, community-based gatherings designed to connect artists, cultural organizations, civic leaders, and community partners across San Diego County.

This District 4 event takes place at the Southeastern Live Well Center on February 26, 5 – 6:30 p.m. The evening will feature informal networking, brief updates on arts advocacy and resources, a local artist showcase, and an opportunity to welcome Christine Jones, the new Manager, Art, Film and Creative Industries at the County of San Diego.

In Community is a countywide initiative presented by San Diego ART Matters through its Local Arts Agency Learning Network, sponsored by the Prebys Foundation. Gatherings are held in each of the County’s five Supervisorial Districts between February and June 2026.

Admission is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided. Come as you are—bring a colleague or friend—and be part of building a more connected, equitable, and resilient arts ecosystem across San Diego.
