San Diego ART Matters is an unincorporated nonprofit organization operating under the fiscal sponsorship of Mission Edge, an incorporated 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping nonprofits scale their organization and ultimately create more positive social change via their missions. Mission Edge specializes in fiscal sponsorship, accounting, and human resources services, providing strong operational support at an affordable cost while enabling organizations like San Diego ART Matters to do what they do best: serve the community.

Mission Edge is tax-exempt, and its Federal Tax ID# is 27-2938491.

San Diego ART Matters, located at UC San Diego Park and Market, joins a host of other innovative partners, such as the Digital Gym Cinema, World Design Capital, UC San Diego Design Lab, Girard Foundation, Qualcomm Institute, UCSD as a partner at UC San Diego Park and Market in supporting public programs focusing on arts, culture, education, and civic purposes and objectives.

Other significant San Diego ART Matters partners include: Arts + Culture, a City of San Diego-focused advocacy organization based in Balboa Park; Californians for the Arts and California Arts Advocates, two state-wide advocacy organizations focused on increasing support and public awareness of arts and culture; Create CA, a statewide coalition fighting for equitable and accessible arts education in public schools; the City of San Diego Commission for Arts and Culture, the California Arts Council designated State Local Partner for San Diego County and the County of San Diego Commission for Arts and Culture.

Funders

San Diego ART Matters is made possible by a major grant from the Conrad Prebys Foundation, creating an inclusive, equitable and dynamic future for all San Diegans. It also receives support from other foundations, individual donors, sponsors and members. We spend most of our funding on expenditures enabling San Diego ART Matters to operate our organization, on programs,  and the people who provide programs and resources to those we serve.
